Kendall County Commissioners on July 22 approved the redrawing of the Precinct 1 and 2 boundaries to relocate the Precinct 2 Justice of Peace Office.
What you need to know
Commissioner Jennifer McCall serves Precinct 1, while Commissioner Andra Wisian oversees Precinct 2.
This change will not affect any voters within either precinct and only changes the boundaries of the Burdick Community Center, which is planned to be used by Precinct 2 officials.
While it does not affect voters, the order still needs to be submitted to the voter registrar for election information.
The community center is located within Precinct 1 at 119 Old San Antonio Road in Boerne, and will be redrawn to be in Precinct 2.
The boundary between Precincts 1 and 2 runs directly along Old San Antonio Road, according to Kendall County's general map.
