From block parties to live music, check out these seven July events in the Boerne area.

Black Rifle Coffee Independence Day Block Party

Black Rifle Coffee is hosting a block party in celebration of Independence Day, featuring a car show, live music by the Drew Brown Band and other activities. VIP Taco will offer street tacos while Kona Ice offers a selection of shaved ice. Black Rifle Coffee will be open during the event, providing coffee and other beverages.Boerne Community Theatre presents: Mountain King

Boerne Community Theatre will show “Mountain King” written by Lemuel Mitchell. The story follows an odd couple, alone on a long trail through the wilderness, as they travel to rendezvous with Buck Brewster, the Mountain King. Enjoy the end of summer with Boerne Movies in the Park. The final two events, held at Boerne City Pool will feature showings of “Moana 2” and “Wild Robot” on July 18 and Aug. 8, respectively.Boerne sizzling summer sale

Join the Boerne Retail and Restaurant Owners Association for the second annual Sizzling Summer Sale. This event will feature participating businesses on Main Street offering discounts. A full list of businesses participating has not yet been announced.Hill Country Daily Bread Summer Hunger campaign

Each Summer, Hill Country Daily Bread Ministries hosts a food and donation drive to provide meals for children who are in needs of meals while parents or guardians are not home. With the goal of providing 35,000 meals across the community, the organization asks for financial and donation support throughout the event. Those interested can pick up a bag to fill from the organization.Abendkonzert

On July 15, enjoy a family-friendly summer concert series held on Main Plaza every other Tuesday during the summer months, celebrating Boerne's German heritage. The Boerne Village Band plays traditional German music and shares stories of Boerne's past. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets.Moondance Concert


Since 2000, the Cibolo Nature Center has hosted outdoor nighttime concerts. David Ramirez will perform on July 12, while Micah Edwards performs on Aug. 9. Alongside live music, activities include yard games, food trucks, Texas Chill Country Ice Cream and a Cibolo Creek Brewing Co. beer tent.
