A ribbon cuttting was held on Aug. 12 to celebrate the start of the school year for the new institution.
There are approximately 100 students enrolled in the school’s founding class, and the school is the first private Catholic school to open in Boerne in over 30 years, according to the news release.
The new school is prioritizing a traditional Catholic education, focusing on classical liberal arts alongside faith-based teachings, the institution’s website says.
“I hope many students and families find St. Peter School a welcoming and inspiring educational home,” Founding Principal Melanie Brintall said in the news release.
