A local home decor shop is closing its doors after over a decade on the Hill Country Mile.

What you need to know

259 Home Market, located at 259 S. Main St. in Boerne, is shutting its doors in the beginning of October, Owner Jordis Ernst told Community Impact.

The business first opened in the spring of 2012.

Ernst said that she plans to retire, and it will be too difficult to run the shop remotely.

As a result, they plan to sell off their entire inventory throughout September, before the official closure later this fall.

The remaining items will be relocated to Ernst’s other business in Comfort, called Salvaged Souls Vintage Market.
