Pizza Volterra is expected to dish out slices to the public on Labor Day weekend, Owner Mike Zaroudny told Community Impact.
Food will be served food-truck style along Main Street in Boerne, allowing locals and tourists alike to get a taste of the new cuisine, Zaroudny said.
“We’re going to be cutting pizzas with scissors, just like in Italy,” Zaroudny said.

They’ll be serving Italian-style pizzas, from classic pepperoni to more refined, Mediterranean-themed pies like Cacio Nero and La Regina Margherita, according to the menu.
“It’s going to have perfect, Neapolitan dough, " Zaroudny said.
Aside from pizzas, the pizza truck will have a wide variety of Tuscan-influenced salads and an array of gelatos from strawberry to stracciatella.
