A new coffee company is roasting beans and serving the local Hill Country community.

What you need to know

Known as Wandering Oak Coffee & Trading Co., owner and roaster Chad Mason said he began rolling out his grounds across the area at the beginning of June.

He said there’s a niche to fill in the local area to provide a unique coffee taste and experience.

“I noticed a lack of artisan coffee in Boerne,” he said.

Wandering Oak Coffee offers an eclectic variety of coffee grounds, ranging from African blends to local Hill Country varieties.

“We offer anything from light to dark roast,” Mason said.

Flavors include the Cibolo Creek Blend to the Kenyan AA, according to their website.

There’s also a selection of Latin American blends, ranging from Guatemalan Huehuetenango to Chiapas from Mexico.

Customers can order online or arrange a pickup at the roasting location.
