A local barbecue joint, meat market and meat processor is planning to expand its operation at its location in Boerne.

What’s happening

Klein Smokehaus, located at 342 N. Main St., is has plans to add a new meat processing area in 2026, Owner Colton Sells said. Although Sells is unsure of a completion timeline for the project, the new processing building will help ease increasing customer demands and allow for growth inside the meat market and store area.

Klein Smokehaus is a three-stop shop for deer meat processing, traditional barbecue eats and purchasing smoked and dried meats, according to its website.
