2. The Native Blends

The Native Blends at the beginning of 2025 took the place of Boerne Nutrition, which has been in operation over the last four years, owners Eric Wendt and Elmer Moreno said.

Beverages at the business include teas, coffee and shakes that can be customized to include different flavors and levels of caffeine. Alongside beverages, the business offers acai and dragonfruit bowls.
3. The Rocker

The eatery is locally owned by the Herrera family behind New City Bakery in New Braunfels and City Bakery in San Marcos.

The Rocker offers a variety of pan dulce items, such as conchas, cookies and doughnuts. On the restaurant side, guests can order birria tacos, breakfast tacos, tortas and more.
4. Hometown Refillery

Owner Brittney Likovich said she started the business to help encourage people to reuse old containers for refilling household products.

Customers can bring their own containers, which they weigh before filling with products such as laundry detergent, dish soap or shampoo. After filling, the container is weighed again, and the customer is charged for the weight of the product purchased.5. Texas Treasures Fine Art Gallery

A local art gallery and store has found a new home in downtown Boerne. Texas Treasures Fine Art Gallery celebrated the opening of a new gallery Feb. 6, owned by Johny Rosa.

The store features pieces focused around Texas and other southwestern art, with pieces from more than 30 artists available in the gallery.
