The Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series will host the San Antonio Race Weekend Dec. 7-8.
What you need to know
The event will consist of four distances: a marathon, half marathon, 10K and 5K run begin at 7:30 a.m. Dec. 7 and 7 a.m. Dec. 8. Walk up registration is available for the half marathon and 10K run at the Health & Fitness Expo held prior to the event.
Dec. 7 details:
- The starting line will be at Milam Park at the Corner of West Houston Street and North Santa Rosa Street
- The finish line will be at Travis Park
- Street closures will begin at 2 a.m. with all streets reopening by 11 a.m.
Dec. 9 details:
- The starting line will be at San Antonio City Hall
- Finish line will be at UTSA Downtown Campus
- The Finish Line Festival at UTSA Downtown Campus, featuring Tom Yankton will be from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
- Street closures will begin at 2 a.m. with all streets reopening by 3 p.m.
The route will also feature a variety of entertainment, such as Hodge Podge Blues Band and Mariachi Mile.
