Round Rock ISD will soon begin just over $2.4 million in repairs to district facilities identified as most immediately in need, following a September hail storm that caused an estimated $70 million in damage.
What you need to know
Six RRISD buildings have been approved for repair, having been identified as needing the most immediate restoration. This comes after the district identified up to $70 million in repairs to facilities in November.
The following RRISD buildings were approved for roof repairs by consent during a Feb. 15 board meeting:
- Brushy Creek Elementary School
- Wells Branch Elementary School
- Chisholm Trail Middle School
- Round Rock High School (multiple buildings)
- Round Rock Opportunity Center and central kitchen
- Administration buildings
