Jordan Robinson, the vice president of economic development at the Round Rock Chamber, was named a recipient of the 2021 Economic Development 40 Under 40 Award, according to a March 17 chamber news release.
The 40 Under 40 Award is a biennial award that honors economic development industry leaders under 40 years of age. Development Counsellors International and Jorgenson Consulting—a New York-based integrated marketing firm and national executive search firm, respectively—host the awards.
The awards program received more than 200 nominations, and DCI and Jorgenson announced the winners at a virtual awards reception.
Prior to joining the Round Rock Chamber, Robinson worked with the Greater Houston Partnership as the senior director of regional economic development, per the release. She also spent two years working in the Office of Gov. Greg Abbott and served as the state of Texas' strategic business development manager.
