The first Round Rock location of Shake Shack held a soft opening Oct. 2 and will open to the public Oct. 3.

It is the first location of the restaurant chain to have a drive-thru in Central Texas.

The New York-based restaurant is known for its hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, fries and frozen custard.
