The redevelopment of just under half an acre in central Round Rock is under consideration by local officials.
City documents show the proposal to rezone 0.469 acres of property near E. Palm Valley Boulevard would allow it to be used in a variety of ways, for both commercial and residential purposes.
The overview
The Round Rock City Council will consider the first reading of two measures June 26 to rezone the property at 802 E. Palm Valley Blvd., Round Rock. The first measure would rezone the property from OF-1 general office to MU-R mixed use redevelopment and small lot, while the second would update the city's Future Land Use Map to amend the property's designation from residential to mixed-use residential.
