The city of Round Rock announced it would be closing the Veterans Park playground for the duration of the wintertime to begin its revitalization project. The park is expected to reopen in early spring with new amenities. Renderings for the future design feature military themed play activities including an army jeep, rock climbing wall and U.S. Navy themed play structure.
