Hundreds of parents, children, donors, community members and Round Rock city officials gathered Saturday morning to officially open the Play for All Abilities Park, a park designed to accommodate children with special needs.
The park, located at 151 N. A.W. Grimes Blvd. in Rabb Park, was a designed, built and funded through a collaboration between the city, private donors and local businesses on a scale that Mayor Alan McGraw said he had never seen before.
"I don't know that we've ever done a project in this city that brought the community together like this one has," he said.
