Pflugerville ISD will not face major budget cuts this year, Superintendent Charles Dupre said at a community forum April 3.
In fact, the board of trustees will consider a pay increase for all employees at a board workshop meeting April 4.
"The good news is the cuts we did last year are going to sustain us through the next year," Dupre said.
The board will vote at a workshop meeting April 4 to increase pay by $500 for all teachers, 1 percent for non-teacher employees and to cover an increase in medical insurance contributions up to $600,000, according to the board's agenda.
