Overview
Green Haven Ranch is a new neighborhood under development that places an emphasis on green building.
The neighborhood has a series of green building restrictions, and the model home, which is under construction, will be LEED—Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design—certified when complete. The model will also meet Austin Energy 5-star green building standards with a greywater recycling system, a rainwater harvesting system and solar-powered hot water heater.
The neighborhood will also feature an Organic Farm and Learning Center with its own organic vegetables and fruit trees, as well as a native bird and butterfly sanctuary.
Green Haven Ranch features 55 lots for sale and five homes being built. Lots start at $59,900 and are all 1 acre in size.
