The Brushy Creek Regional Utility Authority has a new general manager, Karen Bondy. Bondy started Aug. 1, replacing Tom Gallier, who worked as the general manager since April 2013. Bondy has worked in the water industry for 36 years, including 20 years at the Lower Colorado River Authority. The BCRUA is a partnership among Cedar Park, Leander and Round Rock to create a water intake system to distribute water to all three cities. www.bcrua.org
