Home sales in the Austin-Round Rock Metropolitan Statistical Area increased by 9.3% year over year in June, according to data released by the Austin Board of Realtors on July 14.
While the Austin MSA experienced a slight rebound amid the coronavirus pandemic, closed home sales in Round Rock, Pflugerville and Hutto dipped.
Data from Round Rock, Pflugerville and Hutto for June revealed a 13.6% year-over-year decrease in closed residential home sales thus far in 2020. Despite a downturn in sales, the average price of homes increased by 5.9% year over year—now listed as $316,752.
Sales in Round Rock dropped by 16% in June in the year to date, per ABoR data. The median home price increased 5.5% to $289,925, and the average home price is now listed as $322,876, a 5.6% uptick.
