A new manufacturing facility is in the works for Round Rock following action by Round Rock City Council and the Round Rock Transportation and Economic Development Corp. on Oct. 22.
Austin-based East/West Manufacturing will construct a facility at 1974 Steam Way, Round Rock. The approximately 43,000-square-foot building is expected to be complete by August 2021, said Nichole Vance, the director of business attraction for the Round Rock Chamber.
East/West manufactures electronics, according to the company’s website.
The company will invest at least $5 million into the Round Rock facility and an additional $650,000 in business personal property, according to an economic inventive agreement approved Oct. 22.
