Crews started construction on a 68-room Holiday Inn Express this week. Located at 18616 Hilltop Commercial Drive, Pflugerville, the hotel will be a four-story, 51,328-square-foot structure, according to plans submitted to the city. The hotel site is located behind the Super Target in Stone Hill Town Center. A combined Hilton Tru and Home2Suite hotel is also planned for the area. The hotels will share a five-story building and a lobby at 18700 Hilltop Commercial Drive, according to plans submitted to the city. A construction start date for Hilton Tru and Home2Suite has not yet been announced. However, the city of Pflugerville issued a site development permit for the building on May 13. The 180-room hotel is expected to be around 95,310 square feet.
