The University of Texas at Dallas announced on its website that it is canceling classes and activities due to the potential for hazardous weather conditions.
The campus is closed starting Feb. 23 at 3 p.m. and all day Feb. 24. The closure will cancel all classes as well as any scheduled exams, the university said in the statement.
While the campus is physically closed, university staff said it will shift operations to remote status where possible, according to the statement.
“To be clear, the health and safety of our employees are our priorities and should take precedence over any work responsibilities,” the statement read. “Supervisors will work with employees accordingly.”
