Dallas Area Rapid Transit is providing free rides to polling locations within its service area for the March 5 primary election.

What you need to know

Voters can ride at no charge on all DART buses and trains, according to a news release. Voters can also access GoLink services, paratransit services and the Trinity Railway Express between EBJ Union Station and DFW Airport Station at no charge.

Riders need to show a valid voter registration card to ride free. GoLink riders can use promo code VOTE35 at checkout for a complimentary day pass on the GoLink app.

The options

Collin County voters can vote at any polling location within the county on election day. Dallas County voters can also vote at any polling location within the county during election day. Polls will be open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
