Dallas Area Rapid Transit is holding two virtual meetings for the public to learn about its long-term mobility plans.
The Draft 2045 Transit System Plan addresses regional growth as well as new mobility trends, according to DART. The plan will create a more accessible, sustainable and reliable system, per the transit agency.
The meetings will be streamed Oct. 27 from noon-1 p.m. and Oct. 28 from 6:30-7:30 p.m., according to an Oct. 19 news release from DART. One of the meetings will be recorded and posted to DART’s website. The virtual meeting link can be found here.
Nearly 4 million new residents and approximately 2.2 million jobs will be added to the North Texas region by 2045, according to DART. New technology and innovation are expected to shift the mobility landscape, the transit agency said.
