From pizza to cold-smoked meats, here are the latest updates on five places to get food in Richardson.
1. Pizza Stop opened Sept. 14 in Richardson at 4251 E. Renner Road. According to its website, the pizza shop is operated by “two pizza-loving brothers” and recreates popular pizzas with a twist of western Asian flavors. 2. The Brass Tap opened its newest location at CityLine in Richardson on Aug. 16. The new restaurant is located at 1251 State St., Ste. 650, and is expected to provide up to 15 new jobs to the area, according to a press release. Founded in 2008, The Brass Tap is an upscale craft beer bar with 60 taps and 150 varieties of local, national and international beers, according to a press release. The Brass Tap serves a diverse menu, featuring grilled cheese sandwiches and a weekend brunch selection. 3. Dessert Lab opened this summer in Richardson at 329 E. Polk St., Ste. 100. The dessert store offers a variety of unique dessert dishes, including a glazed doughnut ice cream sandwich and a waffle ice cream sandwich.
