The Brass Tap opened its newest location at CityLine in Richardson on Aug. 16. The new restaurant is located at 1251 State St., Ste. 650, and is expected to provide up to 15 new jobs to the area, according to a press release.

“My eyes were set on CityLine for the longest time, because my wife was born and brought up in the Richardson area and we are very familiar with the community,” co-owner Rhett Bhatt said in a press release. “I did not see any good craft beer in that market, and there are many residential buildings there, which I think will result in many customers.”

Founded in 2008, The Brass Tap is an upscale craft beer bar with 60 taps and 150 varieties of local, national and international beers, according to a press release. The Brass Tap serves a diverse menu, featuring grilled cheese sandwiches and a weekend brunch selection. The bar also plans to host various events, including live music, karaoke, trivia and music bingo.

“With its delicious menu, impeccable location right on the CityLine Plaza and expansive drink menu, The Brass Tap adds another great gathering spot to CityLine,” CityLine Director of Marketing Jessica Robertson said in a March press release. “We’re excited to continue adding unique tenants like The Brass Tap to CityLine’s diverse list of restaurants and entertainment options.”

The franchise has opened 10 new locations in 2022 across the nation, including California and Georgia.

Company ownership said in a statement they loved the idea of creating the “neighborhood bar” experience they enjoyed in college for communities around the Dallas area.

“The Brass Tap is a successful and proven model,” co-owner Ravi Patel said. “We’re just implementing what has already been proven by so many other franchise owners.” 469-757-7862.
