The construction taking place along a portion of Legacy Drive in Prosper is nearing the finish line.
What you need to know
The roadwork on Legacy Drive between Prairie Drive and First Street is expected to finish before the end of January, according to a Jan. 16 post on the town's social media accounts.
Once construction finishes, however, the road will remain closed until spring 2025 when it will reopen alongside another in-the-works project on First Street.
The First Street project, which includes construction at a shared intersection with Legacy Drive, is located between Dallas Parkway and Stuber Elementary and includes creating four lanes of concrete roadway.
Construction on Legacy Drive will build a concrete roadway with curb and gutter, various drainage improvements and median landscape improvements, according to the town's capital improvement project dashboard.
