Old Celina Park is getting an upgrade.
Celina City Council members approved an agreement to accept a $750,000 federal grant from the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department to construct a new playground at Old Celina Park during a Dec. 12 meeting.
The playground is one piece of an improvement project for the more than 63-acre park, according to meeting documents.
