Here are important upcoming dates to know before the spring semester begins in Prosper ISD.

What parents should know

Students return to school Jan. 3 before having a school closure Jan. 15 on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Students may have another long weekend in February with a bad weather makeup day scheduled Feb. 16 and staff development on Feb. 19. Spring break will span from March 11-15 for students.

The 2023-24 school year will end May 22. The complete calendar for the 2023-24 school year can be found here.

What else?

The PISD board of trustees approved the 2024-25 academic calendar Nov. 13. The school year begins Aug. 13, 2024, with the last day of school May 23, 2025.
