Prosper ISD’s 19th elementary school has been named after a former district educator and school board member.
Jana L. Thomson Elementary School will open for the 2025-26 school year and is located on the west side of the district in the Legacy Gardens community. The elementary school’s name was announced during a June 17 board meeting.
“I’m here representing all of you amazing educators [and] amazing people that have helped me along the way,” Jana Thomson said.
