Celina ISD students return to class for 2024-25 school year

Celina ISD students headed back to school for the first day of the 2024-25 school year Aug. 14.

The district's fourth elementary school, Tommie Dobie Bothwell Elementary School, welcomed its first group of students this school year. The district expects to open its fifth elementary school in 2025-26.

Looking ahead

Here are some important dates for CISD students:

• Oct. 14-16, 2024: fall break
• Nov. 25-29, 2024: Thanksgiving break
• Dec. 21, 2024-Jan. 6, 2025: winter break
• March 17-21, 2025: spring break
• May 23, 2025: last day of school
