Extra Space Storage renovation
A Frisco storage rental facility, Extra Space Storage, will create additional storage space and receive a vestibule and kiosk in the manager’s office, along with new furniture and lighting fixtures, according to documents filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

Richardson Geico office
Crews will start work on the interior of a new Geico office at the Gatalyn Commons in Richardson in mid-May, according to TDLR documents. The work includes adding new restrooms and meeting spaces. This is the second of three Geico office buildings set to open in Richardson, according to previous Community Impact reporting.

1876 Clubhouse
A new clubhouse will begin construction for the 1876 Country Club in Celina in early August, according to TDLR documents. The clubhouse will include a commercial kitchen and space for fitness activities, the documents state.

Walmart renovation
TDLR documents show that a Walmart in Allen will receive an interior and exterior remodel, including new floors and paint. Work on the 34,258-square-foot space is scheduled to begin in January 2027.

Celina retail buildings
Two retail buildings are set to start construction on South Preston Road in mid-August and complete in summer 2027, per TDLR documents. The combined square footage totals 10,064 square feet.
