Prosper residents are invited to see their community’s newest fire station for the first time at an Aug. 8 fire hose-uncoupling ceremony, according to a town news release.
A fire hose-uncoupling ceremony is a fire station twist on a ribbon-cutting ceremony—instead of using large scissors to cut a ribbon, officials will uncouple two fire hoses in front of the facility.
What to expect
The ceremony will take place at the Central Fire Station, located at 911 Safety Way, and begin at 9 a.m., according to the news release.
