A number of Plano intersections will be temporarily closed from Oct. 21-Nov. 1 for routine refreshing of pavement markings, according to an Oct. 18 release from the city of Plano. Each day, one intersection will have two lanes closed per direction from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Stop lines, crosswalks and turn markers will be included in the refreshing. Work for each day is expected to take 6 hours, but if it rains on one of the days, each day will be pushed back by one day, the release said. For the week of Oct. 21-25: Monday: Intersection at Chapel Hill and Communications Tuesday: Intersection at McDermott and Independence Wednesday: Intersection at Parker and Preston Meadow Thursday: Intersection at Spring Creek and Headquarters Friday: Intersection at Spring Creek and Communications For the week of Oct. 28-Nov. 1: Monday: Intersection at Spring Creek and K Avenue Tuesday: Intersection at Spring Creek and Preston Meadow Wednesday: Intersection at Spring Creek and Missionridge Thursday: Intersection at Spring Creek and Roundrock Friday: Intersection at Hedgcoxe and Custer
