Plano officials approved $3.19 million for arterial concrete repairs along Park Boulevard at a meeting May 26.
In a nutshell
The Frisco-based ICOS Management LLC was awarded $3,193,250 for repairs from Preston Road to Independence Parkway, according to city documents. The scope of work includes:
- 9,900 square yards of arterial concrete
- 10,500 square feet of sidewalk
- 35 barrier-free ramps
Funding comes from the 2025-26 Street Improvements
Community Investment Program. Arterial repairs for this project are expected to start June 1 and be completed by October 2027, according to the city
website.
The background
Other arterial concrete projects taking place in the city are along Independence Parkway, Legacy Drive, other sections of Park Boulevard and Parker Road. The city approved $2.6 million for arterial concrete at a City Council meeting May 11.
Construction related to the $2.6 million project is estimated to start in the summer and be completed by fall 2026, according to city documents.
