The closure of lanes in Plano that began on Midway Road and led to closed lanes on Spring Creek Parkway, Parkwood Boulevard, Legacy Drive, Hedgcoxe Road and Dominion is expected to be completed by Sept. 27. The North Texas Municipal Water District has been closing lanes in order to locate utilities before new force mains are installed in the medians. Force mains are pipelines that convey wastewater to a discharge point, as defined by the Environmental Protection Agency.
