Plano voters approved all three city bond propositions, totaling nearly $45 million in funding for street, parks and municipal facilities projects, in the May 4 election. Proposition A, the largest of the three propositions at $18.8 million, received the most support from Plano voters. The funds will pay for repairs on residential streets and alleyways, as well as arterial roadways. Other projects to receive funding include roofing replacements at the city aquatic center and two city libraries, as well as nearly $10 million for community and neighborhood parks.
