Sankalp: The Taste of India initially held its soft opening March 12, according to restaurant partner Prakruti Modi.
But within a week of opening, restrictions on restaurants began, and as such, the restaurant has been unable to officially fully open its dining room over the last month and a half.
“We never got a chance to officially do the grand opening,” Modi said.
So far, as a new restaurant, there is not a lot of exposure for new guests, according to Modi. The restaurant has a few weekly customers, but is still working to gain recognition through social media and other online channels.
