Plano's planning and zoning commission approved a public hearing to be held for the Collin Creek redevelopment to potentially move the location of a planned hotel.
In a nutshell
Centurion American, the developer for the planned mixed-use development at the former Collin Creek Mall, is seeking to change the location for a planned 49,946-square-foot hotel on the development.
Senior City Planner Lilyana Morejon said the city is required to call a public hearing if a development cannot receive signatures from all property owners in the district for a change to the current development plan.
Morejon said the public hearing will follow the regular process for zoning cases. The city must post signage near the property 20 days before a public hearing for a zoning case.
