Construction on the mixed-use portion of a new development near the former Collin Creek Mall is expected to continue over the next two years.

Connie Delgado, the vice president of retail development at Centurion American Development Group, said 200 homeowners are already living in the community, and 400 new residential lots will be released to builder partners with more lots to open through the third quarter of 2026.
Delgado said the multifamily portion of the development is expected to break ground either in the late third quarter or early fourth quarter of 2026 and will take 22 months to complete.
The mixed-use part of the development will come with retail, multifamily housing, parks and more residential development, per previous reporting.
Delgado said scheduling for the project has been most impacted by the need for drainage infrastructure throughout the site.
“The development team has worked closely with the city of Plano, engineers, contractors and financial partners to proactively address challenges, maintain momentum and keep the project moving forward,” she said.

Plano’s planning and zoning commission approved a revised site plan for one of two parks at the development during a meeting May 18.
The 4.5-acre park will be located on the southwest corner of Central Circle Parkway and Entrada Way, per city documents. The new site plan contains a playground and trail improvements.
Delgado said construction for the development’s two parks, Starlight Park and Sunrise Park, will start in the third quarter of 2026.
