1. 'West Side Story'
The North Texas Performing Arts Repertory Theatre is showing "West Side Story", a Broadway musical inspired by Romeo and Juliet in a New York City setting. The organization has one American Sign Language-interpreted showing at the end of June.

2. Jesus Sepulveda at Mic Drop Comedy Plano
Mic Drop Comedy in Plano is hosting Jesus Sepulveda, a comedian and co-host for the Los Angeles radio show, Big Boy’s Neighborhood. Sepulveda has a half-hour special on HBO Max and a free special available on YouTube.
3. 3rd Annual Urban MusicFest
The Plano African American Museum is hosting its third urban music festival at McCall Plaza in June. The event will feature Mokah Soulfly, a Dallas-Fort Worth-based hip-hop and R&B artist.
4. Patriotic Pops Concert
Plano Community Band is performing for a number of summer concerts at Haggard Park, including its patriotic concert in July. The volunteer organization is made up of about 70 musicians from all walks of life who share a passion for music.
5. Downtown Plano’s 70’s Pop-up Market
North Texas Vintage Markets and the Downtown Plano Arts District are hosting a pop-up market with vintage vibes, unique finds and a community atmosphere. The 70s pop-up market will have a curated selection of retro and boutique goods, handmade items, home decor, sweet treats and more.
6. Sunset Mermaid Soiree
Shellebrations and The Texas Pool are hosting a Sunset Mermaid Soiree as an adults-only night. Steel drum musician Charlie Duhon will be playing at the soiree.
