Voodoo Brewing Co. held a grand opening in Plano on March 8.
This franchise is owned by husband-and-wife team Jeremy and Jennifer Dartez.
Jennifer Dartez said of the 15 Voodoo brand beers, The Love Child and Lacto Cooler are top sellers. Nine flagship Voodoo beers are always available, while others are switched out throughout the year.
Options such as seltzers, stouts, IPAs and golden ales are represented in Voodoo brand beers. Beyond Voodoo brand beers, there are 14 other beer options on tap.
“My husband is a beer snob, so he wants those off the wall, very good, spontaneous releases,” Jennifer Dartez said. “I only got one keg of each and will continue to get other kegs to replace those guest taps.”
On the food side, dill pickle pizza and hush puppies are customer favorites.
Jennifer Dartez said she and Jeremy Dartez chose the location for their Voodoo Brewing Co. franchise because they love this area.
“Lots within walking distance,” Jennifer Dartez said. “[We] love that everything is locally owned and very community and family oriented.”
