A new donut shop from Shipley Do-Nuts is opening soon near the Plano-Frisco border.

Building renovations for the new location will start in August and are estimated to be completed by the end of September, according to a filing from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. A media representative for the franchise said the new location is planned to open by early 2027.

Shipley Do-Nuts is a Houston-based restaurant that offers Kolaches, a variety of donuts and breakfast beverages like coffee and orange juice. The new location to open along Preston Road will be Plano’s second location.
