Collin County health officials announced 13 additional cases of the new coronavirus April 27.
The county has a total of 676 cases of the virus, the report states. Plano residents account for 195 of the total cases, according to the county’s online dashboard.
There are 196 current cases of COVID-19 as of April 27. Of those, 29 are hospitalized, and 167 remain in home isolation, the report said. 463 people have successfully recovered.
There have been 17 deaths of people who tested positive for the virus in Collin County. The most recent death, a 91-year-old McKinney woman with underlying health issues, was reported April 26.
