Lyla’s Clothing and Gifts closes in Plano

The downtown Plano retail shop, Lyla’s Clothing and Gifts, has closed its Plano location.

The details

Shop owner Meagan Wauters announced the store would be closing to focus on her Rockwall location in a social media post July 31.

Lyla’s Clothing and Gifts offers a variety of women’s accessories and clothing, kitchen dishes and towels, dad joke gifts, squishes and more.

The background

The downtown Plano location opened in 2017, per previous reporting, and first launched in 2014. Plano’s downtown book store, Bibliobar, will be relocating into the space as part of an expansion of its book selections and community space.
