Plano officials approved additional funds for an erosion control project at Pecan Hollow Golf Course at a meeting May 26.
The gist
The erosion control project for holes 6 and 7 at the golf course was approved for an additional $711,337 after unforeseen soil and groundwater conditions along the course streambank, per city documents. The total cost of the project is now $4,058,971.
The additional funds covers the work required to construct a revised foundation in response to the current soil conditions, per city documents, and includes deeper excavation, added foundation material, special shoring support and continuous dewatering.
