The city of Plano has partnered with the county and a federal agency to open a disaster recovery center, according to a news release.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency has opened a disaster recovery center in the city, which is located at 4800 Preston Park Boulevard. Per the news release, the city also partnered with Collin County to open the facility.

The deadline to apply for federal assistance is July 16 for individuals impacted by severe weather, including storms and flooding, between April 26 and June 5, per the news release. Staff at the disaster recovery center are able to provide assistance in filling out applications for assistance and coordinating translators or other accommodations.
