Individuals wishing to purchase tickets for Richardson’s annual Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival can still purchase discounted resident tickets ahead of May 17, per a city news release.
Discounted tickets are also available in-person for $18, compared to $15 online, so long as individuals can provide proof of residency in Richardson, such as a city utility bill, driver’s license with Richardson address or phone bill.
The overview
According to the news release, discounted tickets are available for in-person purchase at four city facilities:
- Richardson Gymnastics Center, 300 E. Arapaho Road
- Heights Recreation Center, 711 W. Arapaho Road
- Huffhines Recreation Center, 200 N. Plano Road
- Richardson Senior Center, 820 W. Arapaho Road, Ste.100
Discounted tickets must be purchased in person by close May 15 or by 5 p.m. May 17 online. The discounted single-day tickets are limited to six per household and can be used for any date of the show.
Tickets purchased at the event will have a higher price after May 17.
What else?
The Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival will be held at the Galatyn Urban Center, which is just north of Galatyn Parkway and east of US 75. Artists at this year’s festival include Nile Rodgers & Chic, KC & The Sunshine Band and Sister Sledge.
The three-day event will also have a battle of the bands, songwriting competition and more.
City staff also updated policies to outlaw portable chairs and blankets near the Amphitheater Stage during the festival.
