Pflugerville City Council approved fee waivers and expanded services at its meeting Feb. 23 to help the Pflugerville community with cleanup from the winter storm. The programs will assist with emergency repairs and residential cleanup in the city and its extraterritorial jurisdiction.
From Feb. 24 through March 31, free curbside limb pickup will be available for city of Pflugerville trash customers and residents in the ETJ who are city trash customers. Additionally, the city is adding more drop-off locations for limbs and construction debris.
Limb pickups should be scheduled with Waste Connections online or by calling 512-282-3508. Tree limbs must be unbundled, no longer than 4 feet in length and weigh less than 40 lbs.
Other options for limbs and brush include the weekly bulk collection curbside or at the Recycle Center. All fees for brush and limb drop-off at the Recycle Center will be waived through March 31. The center is open daily from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
