Kelly Lane Phase 3
Project: The city will construct a four-lane roadway with a center median and four roundabout intersections from Moorlynch Avenue to Weiss Lane.
Update: Per city information, the transportation team anticipates 100% final utility designs by May.
Parkway Drive
Project: Parkway Drive will be reconstructed into an urban road section with pavement, curb, gutter drainage, sidewalks and streetlights.
Update: Per city information, the project reached the final design and bidding preparation phase in March.
Pfluger Farm Lane North
Project: A section of Pfluger Farm Lane will be widened and extended into a three-lane road.
Update: According to city information, the transportation team's plan review was 100% complete as of March 30.

Helios Way
Project: Helios Way is being extended to improve access to the SH 130 Frontage Road and support industrial development.
Update: According to city officials, construction is underway on the new Helios Way right-in and right-out driveway.
Hutto
Upcoming projects
CR 199
Project: The project will reconstruct CR 199 from CR 132 to FM 1660 South.
Update: In January, city council approved orders for coordination services with Union Pacific Railroad and the Texas Department of Transportation, including utility coordination services. Per city documents, the current Capital Improvement 5-Year Plan has funding for construction in Fiscal Year 2028.
FM 1660 South at US 79
Project: The project will construct turn lanes and make signal improvements at the intersection of FM 1660 South and US 79.
Update: According to city officials, design is 100% complete, but officials are awaiting approval from the Union Pacific Railroad to allow moving forward with bidding.
Ongoing projects
Old Town parking and traffic improvements
Project: The city is converting select downtown streets into one-way traffic to improve flow and safety, while adding parking. Changes include new parallel parking on East Street.
Update: According to city officials, crews completed the conversion of Main Street into a one-way road going southbound from Live Oak Street to Hwy. 79 on April 2. Crews will next work on phase 3 of the project, which will convert West Street into a one-way road going northbound. Construction is expected to begin this month.
Completed projects
Innovation Boulevard/Limmer Loop
Project: Construction crews installed a new signal at the intersection, converting it from a two-way stop into a new four-lane signal stop intersection.
Update: According to city officials, crews activated the traffic signal April 7.
